Bats in a Jar

Bats in a Jar
This is an awesome family project. My son enjoyed this. He loved when we caught lighting bugs this summer. I think this reminds him of that. If you are interested in the tutorial just ask I will tell you what you need to know!

Treat Bag

Treat Bag
This will be my son's third Halloween and I have not got him the right trick-or-treat bag. I loved the pattern, but when I got have way through it was too small. So I still have not found the right bag for him. These would be perfect to give as little goodie bags. He is only two so we actually might let him take this one for now. He does not need that much candy!

Cake Boxes

Halloween Cake Boxes
I had to have a cake to go on top of my cake stand. I made my own pattern for the boxes and decorated them with some cut-outs.

Cake Stand

Halloween Cake Stand
I saw this idea online and thought I'd check it out. I took a regular vegetable can and covered it with halloween paper. For the top, I cut out circles on cardboard. I cut several to thicken the top. I used the same type of paper for the top. I cannot remember what the width was for the outer ring, but I did have to use three strips. Put it all together and you have a cute table piece.

Spider Treat Box

Spider Treat Box
I used my Martha Stewart score board to make the smallest box. Then I cut out a spider using Doodle Charm's cartridge on my Cricut. Basically glued the spider to the box and vo-ila!!
